Jod_Jod_1207 the plant is Drimiopsis maculata. Common names: African Hosta, Leopard Plant. https://cactiandsucculentsrus.com.au/2018/03/06/plant-of-the-week-ledebouria-maculata/ https://www.abc.net.au/gardening/factsheets/spring-cottage/9431134 @brightcolours
@brightcolours I work in bush regeneration and I've never seen this plant before, so I don't think it's much of a threat, thankfully 😊. I found it as a 'weed' in the garden and put it into a pot instead because it looked unique haha.
But a Ledebouria was found in this wetlands which is why I thought it might be weedy in the subtropics. https://wetlandinfo.des.qld.gov.au/wetlands/facts-maps/wildlife/?AreaID=lga-brisbane&Kingdom=plants

Thanks @Annettenoosa ! ...... I've had that app for a while now, but couldn't find this plant, thanks @brightcolours
Jody, that’s because it’s not listed as a weed in SEQ. But I suspect it may be weedy here. I thought you’d said you hadn’t planted it?

@brightcolours perhaps it could become weedy, but that is a list of plants, not weeds. It includes natives, e.g. Bunya pine is native
Yes, I know it’s a list of plants, including native and introduced species, found in the wetlands. I was surprised to see a Ledebouria on the list.
