This doesn't look 100% like zebrina, but I can't seem to find anything closer? Possible hybrid? A market stall was selling several like this. Hopefully someone can positively ID? #plantid #huernia #zebrina #succulentid
@Muzz67 May be able to help?
I found this page so hopefully it can help? www.succulentguide.com/cactus/?start=20&genus=huernia&species=
It looks similar to orbea elegans ?
@Muzz67 yes it does look similar. Elegans has yellow tips on each petal whereas my specimen has red tips. Elegans has flowers forming off a petiole looking structure whereas mine are more directly on the plant stems too.
Oh ok I wasn't certain at all lol I just noticed the flower as I was going through all of them.I hope you get the id soon. It's a very pretty flower 😍
Went back to markets today where I got it and asked seller, who unfortunately, incorrectly said it's a zebrina.
I'm going to assume this is a hybrid 5/2/23
This looks like Huernia guttata to me, @Jod_Jod_1207 -- not Huernia zebrina #spectacularflowers #succulentsunday

@emch hmmm maybe. I posted on 2 different Stapeliad groups asking for an ID and the admin of 1 group just said 'Huernia hybrid' and apparently couldn't ID it further 😆🤦♀️. When I bought it, the seller sold it as H.zebrina. You are right, it does look similar to H.guttata, perhaps that is the hybrid Cross? http://www.llifle.com/Encyclopedia/SUCCULENTS/Family/Asclepiadaceae/22523/Huernia_guttata
Very likely!
