Never seem to have had any luck with this. Never seem to get many big stems. Any #tips anyone? #tip #help #rhubarb-tip #rhubarb-advice #rhubarb #rhubarb-timperleyearly #rhubarb
Not a big fan of this one. It's very stringy and tart. 😖😅
I know they’re greedy feeders. @awomanonabike may grow it?
I’ve not grown this variety but Katie is right, they love lots of muck. If grown in a pot, it needs to be a big one, at least 50cm across and high according to RHS. I’d suggest either planting it in the ground or putting it in a much larger pot. Mulch with some well rotted manure (avoiding the crown) and make sure it never dries out. Good luck!
Thanks for the help @brightcolours and @awomanonabike I’ll bung on some manure and see what happens!
