Guzmania lingulata

It has been scorched in the patio in the sun. Is there any way I can help it recover? #advice-needed

She is still lovely. I just move them from the direct sun or length of time in it and let them heal. This is scarred now, but the plant should be ok. We have all done this, especially when the sun arrives in Spring. #scarletstar #guzmania #guzmanialingulata #sunburn

Can anyone identify the type of bromeliad this is please?

As close as I can get for you is Guzmania lingulata. We will add #plantid #plantid-bromeliad and maybe someone can get closer. #bromelaid #guzmania #guzmanialingulata
