Zone 5a. Indoor w/ grow light. Started working with plants 3 years ago. In love with succulents so I’m trying to learn EVERYTHING.

This was once one of those spray painted succulents you see at the store. It has recovered nicely! #echeveria-agavoides #hope

@sherrisgarden No I bought it that way to find out if it could recover. Turns out it can!

Got these sad spray painted succulents at work today. Felt so bad I brought one home to experiment with. There are 2 lil pups that give me hope. Kinda just want to see what the big guy does with all that gold and red paint on him. I wish they hadn’t done anything to these gorgeous plants. #sad #project #paint #hope #succulent #echeveria

Keep us informed on these, please. I am always curious if they transition from being painted or just die from it. #experiment #planttorture

Will do @lovestogarden I’m hoping that if a grower takes the time to grow such beautiful plants they somehow invented magic paint that doesn’t kill their plants. But it definitely seems like #planttorture
