Zone 5a. Indoor w/ grow light. Started working with plants 3 years ago. In love with succulents so I’m trying to learn EVERYTHING.

Gasteria Carinata

Got it’s normal green color back. Just moved it further from the lights and it seems to be doing great! 👍

Worried about this guy. He’s turning very dark and the leaves are beginning to wrinkle. Is this what a sunburn looks like? Watered him on the 8th and then again today. (My moisture meter said the soil was totally dry.)

These are really tough! Over watering is worse than under watering. It may have been dry though .Have the wrinkly leaves picked up since watering ?

@Muzz67 They look exactly the same and I watered about 10 hrs ago. I’m thinking because it was in the store for about a month getting no sun I shocked it with too much with my grow lights... or maybe it’s just going dormant?

I think bottom leaves naturally die anyway. If there is new growth you should be fine 😁

@Muzz67 Okay. I won’t give up on it. I think there is one lead in the middle that is a normal green.

Help me identify this plant #plantid Is this some kind of haworthia? I like how it just grows out sideways in the one direction like a fan. #more-new-plants

My best guess is Haworthia sordida. Does anyone have one that looks similar?
