#Green #Bell #Pepper, #green-bell-pepper 🤗❤️🦋 I am sorry if this is not plant or garden related, but I wanted to touch base with my Florida GT'ers in regards to Hurricane Irma. It is a hurricane category four and in/or around the South American area heading towards Florida and possibly in my path if it goes in this direction. Governor Scott has issued a warning to be prepared in advance as far as water, food, etc.

Please seriously take heed of his warning as the water shortages are already apparent in my County as well as other counties in Florida due to the affects/effects of Hurricane Harvey. Please seriously prepare yourself in advance and do not do it at the last moment. Try to do a collection of the necessary items for preparation on a daily basis so that you will be prepared/supplied for at least three days or more should it happen. Take care and God bless you GT'ers. 🤗❤️🦋

@Cyndi: I save all my drinking water bottles and I will start filling them up for all of those specific reasons. Ten years ago in 2004, Hurricanes Charley, Frances, Ivan, and Jeanne ravaged Florida, leaving billions in damages. Fortunately, we were only out of power for 2-3 days in my County. Our prayers were answered then. I am hoping for the best. 🤗❤️🦋

@treefrog44: Sorry to hear that you are going through this Theresa. Atlanta Motor Speedway is opening its camping facilities free of charge to people fleeing hurricane Irma.

@treefrog44: Our track is committed to helping our friends in Florida and the surrounding states during this time of need,” Talladega Superspeedway Chairman Grant Lynch stated of the venue, which is located just off I-20 between Atlanta (GA) and Birmingham, AL. “We hope to provide a sense of relief by offering a place to stay for no charge for evacuees during this time of adversity. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in the path of the storm.”
