Tough as old boots. I’ve buried sections of mine twice with stones and rubble accidently, and the following year the rhizomes still manage to squeeze through the gaps and flower 😆

This is one plant I just cannot make happy, in this garden or the last, I think the current plant is No.8 or 9th try 🤷♂️

@hebelover I have the same experience with fuchsias they barely last a couple of weeks
