This is my Calceolaria Integrefolia Kentish Hero which is a little tender. It can take cold down to about -5 but hates cold rain. I've used a big Polly bag but wonder if it would be better to use a double wrap of fleece?
I hate the cold and rain and I wrap up in a fleece rug - so I would say your plants would appreciate it. Hope that helps !!!!!!
Don't know anyone who wraps up in polythene but will the fleece keep the rain off? @charlotte
I would worry the plant will sweat inside the plastic bag and get mouldy? Perhaps if you lift it a little at the bottom to give it a little airflow?
That was my main worry, think I'll change it to a fleece anyway. I'm sure it'll keep it pretty dry

The 'hot'front bed gets a new edition 😃
Lovely colours 🏵🌺🏵🌺
Going to have to find a sympathetic colour plant to put between them but no more than about 1m high. There's Crocosmia on either side, mine on the right, your kind gift on the left.... Ummm 🤔😏
How about something yellow
I have a dahlia in mind to to the left of the Coneflower which has an orange tinge to its yellow ball flowers @lesliecole49 but I think it's a good colour suggestion.
My only bit of sunshine today as well @pelly it's a shame this is all at the back of the plant
Wow 😎 that's bright 🌞
It's a very lovely bit of sunshine Jeremy 💛💛
That's one of my purchases I made Jane when we met at the Harrogate flower show a couple of years ago
