The advice I read says don't underplant roses but this accidental combo seems to be OK for both

Sometimes it pays to ignore the advice and go with your gut. The colours look great together 💛💚💜

Question please; do we collect these Campanula Campel blue seeds and if so do they look ready, so much to learn!

Yes they are dry so ready. Take a white envelope and drop the seed pods in it. Give it a little shake the seeds will fall out. Pop onto white paper so you can remove the chaff then save the seeds in a new envelope 😄

I'm sure I'm not alone in wondering when to gut the flower spikes off and save them in a paper envelope to get the seeds to plant next year?

Wait until the seeds are set and ripened, but try to catch them before they disperse. Check regularly, you soon get to recognise the right moment. Collect seeds when they are dry, so not a wet day (if that's possible at the moment).

Thought the spikes looked too green at the moment @chrisf but I'll take your advice and keep an eye on them
