Geum 'Flames Of Passion'

The geums have arrived, bit too early and they're a bit too small to plant out, exciting though 🤓😁 should I cut the flower off so it can concentrate on growing it's roots?

Yeah, @jpea I was very unprepared for overwintering, they were in a pot, covered on an unheated but enclosed deck. We just had the coldest winter we've had in decades tho. At least, small consulation, I got it from the clearance rack.

I had a plant in a pot I thought had bought it but the root seemed fine so I left it to the side and let it make it's own mind up, now got 4 good size leaves on it 😀 @lesliecole49
