Have you moved it, was it in a pot last year, middle bit looks healthy from what I can see. Agree with Nicola check the roots, looks a bit dry

I had exactly the same with one of mine, investigated the roots and found the dreaded vine weevil 😡

I've lifted it out of its pot removed a worm or two but couldn't see a thing else @jendren

I put it into a large pot at the beginning of this year a d that's when it started to fail, other plants look ok in the pot @jaynehynesburton

Weevils would be right in amongst the root ball. If you pulled at the crown it would likely come up in your hand if it was them. Fingers crossed it isn't though!

Has it been too dry mine struggled to get going after last years drought but they are getting new shoots now I always panic on here as those down south are all blooming but 3 wks later ours start, take off the old leaves give it a feed and it should be ok , geums tend to like a bit of shade so make sure it's not in too much sun

It liked its position @Keely and when checking for weevils it split in 2 so one half is in fresh compost in a pot, the other in the ground close to where it was. Fingers crossed now 🤞🤞

Fingers crossed have faith they can be split so should be OK n at least you now have 2 for price of one

@lesliecole49 this catches the ☀️ from early-mid morning to about 2 then the fence starts to shade it. My first time with it (and basically everything) but it seems to be doing ok

Mine didn't bloom this year. I was led to believe it might not.

Well half a flower is better than nothing 😃😃
