Morning all, thanks to the wonderful labeling of "Flowering Hibiscus" I've no idea what varierty this is, pretty though it is. Any thoughts GTers? #plantid
Not sure, it’s lovely though - it’s more likely to be a cultivar/variety of Hibiscus syriacus (Rose of Sharon) though than Hibiscus rosa-sinensis 👍🏼
Oh right Richard, I was unaware of that difference, thank you I'll amend it now @richard.spicer.7906
It’s lovely whichever one it is Jeremy 🌸🌸
Thank you Jane, what's in a name anyway 😅😅
Yes, rosa-senensis is more the tropical hibiscus that you see, whereas syriacus is a more hardy species which many people grow in the U.K. not sure I can help much more on the specific variety, there is another one called 'Hamabo' if that’s any closer otherwise I’m out of ideas 🤷🏼♂️
Thats it! Well done Richard and thank you so much. I've just googled it and the image is identical @richard.spicer.7906
😄👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Morning 😊🖐
Morning Ange, you've been busy 🙂🙋♂️🙋♂️
It's beautiful Jeremy. I'm a big fan of Rose of Sharon
Morning folks, not meant to rain until 3pm but drizzling now, should feel unhappy not to be able to garden but it still needs it.
It’s a bit of a catch 22 situation isn’t it. Wanting to work in the garden yet wanting the rain so you can’t 🤔
That’s beautiful 😍
Morning Jeremy .. I’d go for the rain atm
Morning, it's meant to be quite a downpour later - I hope so! 🙏
Good morning JP beautiful flowers 🤗
Good afternoon Christine, Julie, Ange, Enid let's hope it's not too bad and thanks re the flower @vegandmore @juliesgarden @anges @godfreye
Give me rain any time, Jeremy! My garden is parched as we haven’t had any of the downpours that were promised 😢
Not good Barbara, it's stayed dry enough to cut n edge the lawns, phew... @jacaranda
