Trouble is I cut the red variety all down before I thought of collecting the seed 'doh' now I've to work our which was the red and which was the white 🤣🤣

This is ROSE CAMPION 'ALBA' JP ......it self seeds readily. Cut the flowers off at the base of its stem :)

Ah, thanks #flof1952, I want it to spread so I can gain a few more plants so do I leave alone so it can do this or do you think it's fine to dead head now? Hope you don't mind me asking again

Go ahead and deadhead just leave a few flowers to reseed at the end of their blooming season.
