#salvaged wind damaged Gaura, I've taken cuttings so 🙏🙏🤞🤞

Are they? I fancy giving that a go 👍🏻

Good idea 👍 I have more luck with cuttings than I do growing from seed 🤷♀️

Cuttings are the best!

I've just done similar, but with Gaura Walberton's Snow Fountain. Let's hope they both 🙏 take.. good luck.

Good luck, they're such a pretty ethereal plant

@lesliecole49 @solly1961 @debs69 @sadieberg @linfoster I find they make such a great edging to a path or drive with their long gentle flower stems. I sometimes mix them with the white variety 'The Bride'

Oh no, bloody wind. Good thing you've got cuttings ♥️♥️

I've put some red ones some white and a pink/white one around my birdbath. Another I've put among some sages, hummingbird mint (agastache)and salvias. They were marked down so I got a couple.

That sounds fabulous @lesliecole49

#cataloguing #bed3jpea I've to admit an error in assuming this was a salvia as it was among all the others but no it's a Gaura (even better) - now in English

I'm quite sure that belongs in my garden Jeremy!! 😂🙄

You're probably right Jane but it loves it's new home 😁😁

#beeblossom mines nearly 1m tall if not more. Love these!

Eek Leslie maybe I should have placed it further back but the label said 60cm @lesliecole49

I'm 5'8 and mine come to about under my armpit. That's the bloom stalks. The plant itself, like a hosta is not as tall. The stalks are very airy and light tho. They shouldn't block anything behind them.

Thanks Leslie, that's a relief, not sure it's that good to keep shifting stuff
Still enough left to flower after what at first I thought was wind damage but I think now it was pigeons 😬
That should grow well, it looks healthy enough 💞👍
🤞 Jane, have to admit these are a close second to Salvias for me @pelly
Glad to hear it 😍👍
Could be pigeons JP if they’re building a nest they’ll pull at your plants I’ve watched them with mine....😠
