These are the other two I bought (for just 4 squid!) The one on the left was identified as I've identified it but the one on the right was helpfully labelled just 'Shrub' but I'm pretty sure they're the same but if anyone knows different I'd be grateful

Hi @jpea 🙂👋🏼 - we note you have created a new plant entry for this photo, but you have listed it under two separate cultivar names. In the common name you have listed it as 'Diabolo' but in the Latin name as 'Diablo d'Or'. Whilst similarly spelt, these are actually two different varieties so can't be included on one entry. which one was you trying to create? Once confirmed we will amend in the background for you 👍🏼

@gardentagsplantsteam I'm sorry for causing the confusion. The label states Physocarpus 'Diablo d'or' to be exact no mention of Mindia but the unlabeled one just "Shrub" (very helpful - not) in

Great - thanks. It should therefore be spelt 'Diable d'Or'. The version spelt 'Diablo d'Or' (with an o instead of an e) is technically an incorrect spelling spelling of 'Diable d'Or' and the rhs recognises them as the same plant. Diabolo on the other hand is a separate plant altogether. Therefore, as another user had already created an encyclopaedia entry for the same plant, we will merge yours into the existing one to prevent duplication. Many thanks @jpea 👍🏼

PS - Mindia is technically the registered cultivar name by the breeder who created the variety. Diable d'Or is simply a preferred selling or marketing name in the horticultural industry. Nurseries are supposed to always refer to Mindia in small print on their labels even if they use the marketing name, but alas many do not.

@gardentagsplantsteam thank you that's much appreciated, now I need to work out if the right hand one is the same plant with smaller leaves? 🤔
