After taking advice from here, you people are so good ( @mikethegardener or @rbetts25 sorry can't remember which, age kicking/tripping in) and reading up about its invasive suckering habit I've dug up the Rhus growing in my bed and potted it up till I decide what to do, my thoughts are a very large shallow'ish pot
Very good advice! I had one of these in my garden a few years ago and had to dig it out. I now grow it in pots and the beauty is that I can move the pots around and have them in different displays depending on the time of year. A great specimen plant or an interesting addition to groups of pots. 👍😍 @jpea
Lol, I was going to suggest you keep it in a container when I saw the pic, then read that you'd already discovered that! It's a cool plant and the berries make a good tea
Haha, can’t take credit for this one @jpea however I probably would’ve given the same advice as we had one in the garden where I grew up and it popped up all over the place. Not for long though as frequent games of football and cricket kept it in check!
Please help me identify this plant, it's grown well over winter in the greenhouse but now I need to know where to site it. Thanks (it's about 250mm high at the moment) #plantid
