Yesterday I finally managed to spend most of the day in the garden even cutting down and top dressing the autumn fruiting raspberries. Yay 😁

@mrleewarwick I'm new to raspberries too and as I understand it there are summer and autumn fruiting varieties which are pruned differently but a slow release seems poultry feed might be better at this time

I have loads and they go mad full of fruit - I haven’t cut them back yet - must get out there and do that! I think that they’re well established and that’s all the trick is! 😉 @mrleewarwick

The raspberry canes left all over the garden when we bought the house (nearly a year ago 😳🤯 now!) I've discovered are the autumn cropping variety and even though I moved and replanted them in the fruit patch they haven't stopped giving all October, wonderful 😊😋

Where did that year go? I wish I had room for some raspberries, they're my favourite fruit ❤
