Dracaena fragrans 'Lemon Lime'

Just bought this plant and the soil has a layer of mold...what does this mean? Have only watered once

@jplant Beautiful plant 😊 Is it still in the soil in which you got it? Just asking, because often the soil is not of good quality. I would repot the plant. Regarding watering: wait until the top few centimeters of the soil are dry before you water, so that it doesn't get too wet. Hope this helps you a bit 🙂

@natii it is still in the original soil, so will probably try re-potting. Thank you for the tips!
