Some advice please @justin!I need to replace the hideous conifer that is currently being evicted in the front garden. I was thinking of a grass/phormium/yucca type thing that would give some privacy for our front windows. The neighbour has (only now) complained that the offending conifer was blocking her view as she reverses off her drive. Any thoughts?

Personally I'd go for a Phormium Tenax as can grow 10ft and will be wide too so should provide adequate coverage privacy if conditions right. If you buy a large one straight off it should only take a couple of years to grow large 👍🏼 they do nice variegated ones too and just found this http://www.grasslands.co.uk/phormium-tenax-variegata-15-litre-pot.html?gclid=CMGB0uqMrNMCFUy3GwodV1sHfA by googling large Phormium! Hope this helps @tash74

Ah, I have a phormium tricolour (?) that I had planted in the back garden but I think it will get too big for it's spot - I can move it to the front! Perfect, thank you! @justin
