Does anyone else like Heliconia rostrata? I cultivate a clump of them mainly for cut flowers. | Penang Island
Beautiful.
Pls share how to get them to flower. Mine hardly flower. Could it be bcoz it’s not getting enough sunlight? Thx
@KimTho I do find that they need quite a fair amount of sun. Either very bright to full sun for 6 hours a day is the usual advice but mine gets less than that. Also they are hungry feeders. To get bulky growth they need to be fertilized well.
