Gorgeous colouring! 😍😍😍 I didn't realise there were different species of hellebores. Just thought there were helleborus niger and orientalis.

@ublaszko yeah, there are several but I believe the ericsmithii is actually a hybrid. It’s a caulescent (stemmed type) form. Another one I really want is Helleborus foetidus which is also a stemmed variety where you don’t cut the leaves back before flowering!

I really like helleborus foetidus. I saw one at Newcastle University grounds and fell in love 😍 I'd love to have one of the Ballard group hellebores.
