Alstroemeria

I bought this one at the end of the summer season for a bargain. It started blooming. Will it keep blooming? Or is it an annual?

Pretty sure they're perennials, although I'm not sure how hardy they are. I do know that if you want them for cut flowers, you should pull them rather than cutting them to encourage repeat flowering.

@Soph1e Thanks for the advice, I will certainly pull them. I have heard the cut flowers last quite a long time.

@gjones I was quite surprised when it started blooming as I was expecting only green until spring. I will see what happens as winter sets in.
