I love indoor plants and have a small outdoor garden. I live in Manitoba (Zone 3).
Iron Cross Oxalis is growing tall and lanky. What do I need to do to have it grow more full?
Mine is outside but of course too cold there. Nice leaves though.
@kaigia look at all that snow ⛄️
Thank you! It is an annual where I live. I dig up the bulbs each fall and replant them in the spring as they do not overwinter in my zone.@maureen137
@suerichards Yes! We have a lot of snow. And it's not finished yet, we average 30cm of snow in the month of March!!!
@gjones. It is in a west-facing window and hot! My thermometer has recorded a high of 35°C on a sunny day.
Has it been given a rest period? How much water are you giving it?
The bulbs were collected in the fall and put in storage. I water it to keep it moist. @littlemorningglory
It might be slightly overwatered. What kind of soil is it in? They like more loose and sandy soil than rich and organic.
It is in regular potting soil. I will lessen the water and perhaps add some sand to the soil. Thanks for the tips. @littlemorningglory
