Are orchids difficult to maintain?

@DaveInAl, I have mine in indirect light, in a south-facing window. I water them once a week. They flower at least once a year for me, i enjoy the blooms because they last for so long. Personally, I don't find them too hard to maintain.😀

We have one of these orchids on the bench kitchen bench. We've had it for three years and all we do is give it water occasionally and it continually blooms.

Wow! That is beautiful!!! I'm just getting the hang of orchids and I've killed so many 😞 Now I have 3 which I have kept alive for over a year and one of them is growing a new branch to bloom and it will be the first time an orchid has bloomed for me 😁 How do you care for yours? Are all your blooms bought like that or have you been successful with them? Either way you have a gorgeous collection 😊 @kaigia

@Ru8y, thanks! This particular one is blooming for the third time, contiuously, for about one year. Most of my other ones bloom once a year. I keep them in filtered, bright sunlight. Water only once a week.
