My next door neighbours had 8 of these, as tall as the house. They have been lopped in half now but still have grown 6 foot since last year! As you can tell i am not a fan!
@harifowkes we've just got the one that was there when we moved in. Would quite like it gone but dread to think how much it would cost. It is quite a nice shape since I raised the crown slightly
@karen13 if you can keep on top of it then great! I came to an agreement with the neighbours to cut them down and we went dutch on the cost. They have moved out since and the new neighbours are not gardeners at all....lol

Looks a lot like my Western Red Cedar. If when you crush the leaf it smells like pineapple, that's what it is. Only recently ID mine 😊 @karen13
