Help me identify this plant it lives in fernery, I cut it back often as there is shad cloth over top of it. It doesn't flower but grows very fast, I'm thinking of cutting a hole in cloth so it can grow up into sky 🤔 but don't want it to big so need to know what it is and how big it will get. It never has a problem with pests and I get a few critters in fernery, they let it be 🙂
No carol I'm happy to say, just finished reading about it and you can get an awful rash from it. I was getting a bit excited at first thought you had it, the leaf structure is very similar. But they turn red and fall. Thanks anyway for looking for me 👍🤗 @carolgs
i think it is Averrhoa bilimbi, called "kamias" here in the Philippines, also called tree sorrel or cucumber tree. it produces a green sour fruit used to flavor dishes.
