Physalis alkekengi

I’m guessing this is not what my chinese lantern should look like. It was grown from seed October but it just doesn’t seem to pick up. Never mind, might free up a pot for something else, at least I tried #itsokaytofail

Perhaps it’s not liking the compost, try planting it out - they are usually quite vigorous 😊

My chinese lantern seedlings 😀 very slow growing but I’m hoping they’ll improve a bit by spring to plant outside.

@jpea mine lives on the kitchen window seal, but it has been that size for weeks now and I sowed it months ago!

Might sneak mine in for this month ☺️

Oh my word. No wonder I’ve had no success with these in the garden. I pull them up as weeds ☹️
