@diland72 they need acidic soil conditions, which we have down here, but they can also be planted in ericaceous compost

They can take over! So a pot is a great idea.. We reclaimed 20 feet of the garden, when we pruned with a chainsaw! And still it flowers and grows..

@silkworm you could perhaps grow them if you dug in a load of ericaceous compost into the soil before you plant and twice a year feed it with Sulphate of Iron
