There quite a few pale pink flowering Orchid Trees around my area but the parent of these twigs has full magenta flower that I have always admired. In fact I have driven past it on my way to and from work for 10 years and every Spring thought "I really must stop and get a cutting one day". This week I finally got around to knocking on the door and asking! Lucky I did because they are cutting it down!!! Will def grab some more when they do.

..........& no doubt they will replace your tree with artificial lawn once they're done! The modern day gardener!

@Easy I will give them some allowance 😉... Apparently the roots are getting into the sewer. I have also noticed it's been in decline recently so it might be near ts natural end anyway. They don't seem like gardeners tho so they probably just let their lawn grow over the hole. 😔

At a growth height of 12m you have a lot to look forward to.. looking forward to seeing the flower. 😊

@quinnedy the parent isn't that big and it'll be in a pot anyway 😊 besides I am hoping to buy a few acres so they can all spread their limbs
