I love growing unusual and interesting things and am teaching my son to love it too. I have a tiny mostly potted garden in Newcastle NSW.

Where in the hell am I going to find a 'cool dark place' to store all these? My goal regularly gets +40C over summer. Might need to get a bulb fridge... Paul will love that! 😒

Is it possible to get cooler temps under ground. I'm thinking something like a ventilated box that could be buried.

@deekay thats a great idea but I haven't got anywhere to bury it. I only have a small yard. 😯

I've got erlicheer and I just leave them in the ground. They multiply like crazy. I started with six a few years back and have hundreds.

@deekay maybe I could pretend it's a bag of potatoes and sneak them into the pantry? 😉

@nej I normally leave them in but they were crazy pot bound and I didn't get many flowers this year so I figured it was time for a refresh.

As long as noone mistakes them for onions and poisons you all.

Seal them in a waterproof container a bury them in the ground, should be cool down there 😄
