@cyndi you can eat them straight off the plant - no prep needed. Have the same peppery flavour as a normal radish. They are great in salads and as the vehicle to get dip in Ur mouth ;)

This is definitely a brassica. The only thing I've planted here are rat-tail radishes so I assume it has to be... But this is very different to the last one! Maybe this is what they look like when they're planted in the right season and are happy lol! 😋🤣

@brightcolours yep it is a rat tail radish. The plant got waaaaaay bigger that the summer planted on BUT way less fruit and aphids aphids aphids!!

Pods are coming in. They are crunchy, juicy and hot. Really lovely!

Surprisingly pretty flowers! You eat the pods not the roots of this radish so hopefully we'll have something to nibble soon!! 😊
