@rachelbrooks it definitely is but I look worse today gosh it's blinking windy loads of snapped plants when I got home after 11 hour shift took an hour to pick everything up most now in compost bin 😟💨😟

@gjones oh that is colder than us here suppose I shouldn't complain, I've dug out a couple of dahlias already that only have tiny buds on not worth waiting for and my 5' cosmos has one flower on that will be getting chop soon too 😮

Me too Keely but I’ve not watered since the last rain which was about a week ago (apart from pots and greenhouse) so it needs it. I’m getting so far behind with everything as I have the granddaughters on my days off through the holidays and am feeling like it’s getting out of control now!! Eekkk 😱😱

When the blooms are fading and you'd normally dead head, still do that, so you encourage more blooms, but keep the spent flower till it begins to dry out. Shake it on kitchen roll or white paper, the seeds as you know are tiny, then pop in an envelope😄 I saved most of my seeds from those I cut for in the house, the seeds fell everywhere on the windowsill etc! 😄😄
