Beautiful 🐝

Had these dahlias years now n they come back year after year, some I leave in and I take a couple up just in case I lose any over winter

I did the pink one of these last year and they've come back too 🌸

Definitely are and the bees absolutely love them don't they 🐝🐝🐝

First squiffy dahlia to open up

Morning peeps well the winds dropped thankfully but pretty dull outside. PJ wander this morning and this #dahlia is still going strong always leave this one until last to dig up as the bees love it. Have a good day folks.

@jpea it's a tuber so if your soil is ok you can leave it in it will come back every year if it's mulched and doesn't rot in wet soil otherwise take it up and dry it out in shed with your other dahlias 😄

@Jasonsparkes1 good to have a dry day managed to cut back a few more plants in front hardly anything left in flower now bit by bit I'm hacking away and preparing for next year 😄

@juliesgarden Evening Hun no good in my clay soil in soggy Yorkshire Julie I loose them! Although am leaving a couple in this year where I've put alot of grit and it's under sambucca so hopefully roots will protect tuber, I've got spare of same plant so if I loose it I have another 😄

Lovely. We actually had a drop of rain last night. First time in about 3 weeks and guess who watered thoroughly first 😀

@vec oh it's typical Julie we haven't had any for 10 days now with my clay soil it's dry as a bone out there having to keep on top of it 😮

Same with the clay but thank goodness it's mixed full of horse 💩

@vec wish I lived nearer countryside to get it to mix in bought 16 bags in Autumn which has helped but still need more to help 😮
