@lilybee Sue I've loads of plants to get in but it just sticks to spade n forke hoping these few dry days helps so I can get some in before hard frosts hit us! Still got quite a lot flowering which seems a shame to start hacking them back and still trying to dry dahlia tubers but soils stuck to some so much to do but not liking it 😬

@jaynehynesburton I know hun that's why I've got behind n fallen out with it a bit now thinking just leave it no compost or grit left so can't add that as I put new plants in either makes it hard work 😠

Well yet another hailstorm damaged plant today, thunderstorm in my area was dreading coming home as mum text to say its flooded everywhere and was really bad hailstone, I work about 7 mile away and it just chucked it down for an hour just spent 2hrs trying to tidy up again but just getting used to it now seems this year is a bit of a washout 🙄😕

@Jasonsparkes1 its one of my first jobs I do in garden In March and gets me motivated for gardening season, its more of a pain taking them up and drying them out due to clay as they are one of first and last to flower in my garden with dead heading so I take them up a couple at a time 😃

Yes it stayed yellow 🙄 It started off a bit pink with yellow and then turned completely yellow Keely @Jasonsparkes1 I have another one that I didn't think was a Procyon that looks more like it 😂 There was plenty of sun when mine first flowered Jason. Really strange

Mines in sun most of day but took its time to get established and flower as have alot of my dahlias this year I put the delay down to lack of heat 🙄 @jasonsparkes1 @susanhumphrey333 its a strange one not as if they got tubers wrong as both ours are same 🤔🤔

They are still lovely, although a lot taller than I expected, but then I didn't take much notice of the packs. Our downfall Keely this year 😂 I kept the labels so I will check the heights for next year @Jasonsparkes1 👍
