They have opened up but with work for me n shop been busy I've booked in for early Aug, its slowed down here thankfully n from Friday we have to wear masks in shops n super markets too to help prevent the spread, I've stuck to just going shopping at 8am to avoid crowds anyway as not many about that time, think it's all about your own safety and how you deal with it to help protect yourself. I work from home so no public transport to get either. @gjones

Remember this one Keely. I will just admire yours this year as I only have two with just a few buds on 😔 I was so pleased most of them overwintered ok, and grew healthy foliage, but no buds on the others. My front garden will lack colour this year 🙄

@susanhumphrey333 I kept this one as a big tuber Sue so it's huge this year but it's on front patio so using it as the backdrop of the front border and put in smaller fillers this year so dahlias can be seen from a distance too big for border 😄

@harebell no Della I start them off in pots first and bring them on before planting in garden, will start off in summerhouse early march then once frost is over bring them out for more light to establish them before planting in in garden or bigger pots 😁

@suzyw mine do good in back too which doesn't have as much sun aslong as I get them established first in fact flowered longer in back in end 👍

Good for you I usually go into a shop but what I love then come home and realise I can't plant it where I want because I didn't research it first. Must try not to do that this yeah......yeah like that's gonna happen 😂😂😂

@angiecrazycatlady I was same started with a few shrubs in garden cos I liked the flowers didn't realise some of them would grow 3m wide, needless to say they have been dug out and given away my borders aren't that big lol lesson learnt 👍

@suzyw I do if we are going to have a dry/warmish day will put them outside but take them back in on a night and I nip them out to make them bushier too 😀
