This is one of the last to flower this year a #hardyfuchsia that suffered the beast from the east so it was set back and only came into flower last couple of weeks #latebloomer

This is such a lovely one, I keep hanging my nose over it, but I've got quite a few already 🌸🌸

@pelly it is and good that it doesn't need over wintering like some of others Jane worth buying if you see it as it can go in a part shady border and be left out 💕😄👍

Mine are in the greenhouse and I've chopped them all down today along with the geraniums and the chocca mocha. 😞😞😞

@pelly sad day but needs must this is a hardy one so it will stay out all Winter I have taken a couple of cuttings just in case it doesn't survive though 😄

@angiecrazycatlady I remember at beginning of year you telling me that this is a lovely one Angie and it hasn't disappointed you were right its bern lovely 😍

I've taken some cuttings to have more, my original one is a few years old now and always pulls thru winter another good one is delta Sarah it has similar growth but it's white and lilac 😁

@angiecrazycatlady I've got 2 good sized cuttings too as this one was so top heavy the winds snapped it will cut it right back next year to make it bushier left it this year 😃

@pelly most of mine are too Jane but this is a hardy one so will keep it out its been mulched to brim with bulbs underneath now for when it gets cut back next year 😃

This is a beautiful #fuchsiafriday but due to the weight of the flowers and the wind its snapped the stem off the top and the flowers are now trailing on the floor. I have taken cuttings and hoping the plant will survive the Summer but not looking good as this wind has shown no signs of slowing down 💕😣🌬🌬🌬

Oh no!...I hope you get success with your rescue attempt😟

Cataloguing

I have this one it's gorgeous with really strong growth 😊

@angiecrazycatlady that's good to know, Im sharing with mum but im keeping this one. We have loads of different ones some coming on better than others at the minute 👌

They are so easy to take cuttings from I find even bigger with rooting powder now, I just cut a bit off at leaf node strip lower leaves & pot it up they very rarely fail 😊

@angiecrazycatlady thank you, we are going to let these grow but take cuttings too for next year as these are well established but just taking a bit of getting going 👍

Sometimes mine will only bud from the base & I have to cut back all the twiggy growth from last year, hopefully we'll get some bright days ahead 😊

@angiecrazycatlady we are thinking that Angie with some that aren't showing at all as looks like brown wood oppose to green but some have tiny signs of life in them, time will tell 😃

I usually skip off a bit at the top & if it's Brown I keep going till I hit the green, one of mine looks as dead as a dodo but yesterday I spotted a tiny green shoot at the base....fingers crossed 😊

I keep doing that bit by bit its getting lower until I hit green @angiecrazycatlady 💚👌👍😄
