@pelly mine didn't survive either Jane and they've been in garden for about 4yrs shows how harsh winter was I dropped lucky with this at open village gardens 50p a pot got some beautiful colours in the 3 pots I got

#easygrow this is so easy just split them each year in early Spring and you get more plants to share 👍😆
@BillWatson so easy I leave all foliage on over winter to protect new shoots then split it in spring and plant somewhere else really easy they do need a sunny spot to open though, once you have got one plant you will have them forever these are about 7 years old now, dotted all round garden 😄

I just leave them in do nothing at all with them until Spring when I put fingers through them to take off dead leaves and split those that are too clumped together 👍 @lexijane

@belindah once you have got them you will have them forever mine over winter fine and I just keep splitting them each year 👌

@belindah no I got one good size plant about 4 years ago and had about 20 splits from it over years, I leave leaves on over winter to protect new shoots and just pull my fingers through them in spring to take out the frost bitten leaves and its fine as long as its done once frost is over 👍
