Is it in total shade, Keely? I have one that gets sun in the morning and it looks as though it’s suffering a bit. I can’t decide if I should move it into full shade or not 😢

@jacaranda permanent shade this one doesn't even get late sun due to holding fence gate together it loves it there and its one I often forget to water too it never complains 😂😂

@wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom oh yes Hun that's why I love them the other big one is starting to bloom too that has lilac flowers a good feed and they will be great next week, they are struggling a bit with the heat and sun scorch this year we are not used to such a dry/sunny spell here 😁

Slimers seem to be behaving this year - unlike the greenfly! Wonder if they work a rota!

@beckers1974 I have everything under that pot to deter coffee grounds, egg shells and grit tends to work for me in pots 👍

My two are in the ground, and this is the first year they've been left alone! I think the measures I took in autumn must have worked!

I keep checking mine constantly. But every year they get decimated !!!

@nessas no this one stays where it is and its in worse winter position as its at end of the winter tunnel from my alley and never gets sun but likes it there the others i squish down side of summerhouse again in shade but away from wind in winter they arent as established as they are ones that were split from a bigger one 😄

All mine are in the garden, let them die back completely. Next spring, as the shoots appear, take a spade through the whole plant and you've got more lovelies to plant ! @Keely @nessas @gjones #tipsfortuesday 😍😍😃👍

It is and i have 3 this size and one a bit smaller along with 4 smaller varieties and one variegated they love my shady patio, doesn't get sun until around 4ish where they are 😊

@jpea this is it so you can see the size, it's only in a slim pot and needs a wider one to compliment it more, I have 3 and patio is too small to carry 3 now they flower better in bigger pots will tag you in how this one flowered last year, and if you don't want one maybe your community garden will benefit from one somewhere 😊

@markwaynes there is coffee granules round them at minute which usually keeps them away although i do put my fingers round the brim to double check most nights

Good one 👍i also use grit and eggshells .

@markwaynes keep forgetting about my eggshells will be digging them out from compost bin now, damn just been in bath gona stink now lol!
