💜💜💜😍
@Keely love this! Can I have a cutting please?!!!😜😂😀
It was a B n M bargain earlier this year @ 3 for £5 perennials its only a baby im hoping it will spread so I can split it and put another one in other border as im trying to do 2 pink blue n white borders and then 2 reds oranges and yellows, not quite got it right this year as you forget what comes up. Keep an eye out for it next year its superb and very sturdy no support 💜👍
@hayleyaj 👆 doh!!
@Keely if it's still showing new growth you should take some cuttings. I've done that with 3 different salvias and penstemon this year and love being able to have a flow through the garden in different locations👍😀
@hayleyaj I will have a look to see if there are any I could never done lobelia cuttings so will take a closer look it looked mire like a spreader plant that I thought I could split but will take a close look at base of plant thanks for your advise hun👍😊
@keely it's the same. So non flowering shoots below a leaf nose with sharp scissors, remove the larger leaves, dip in rooting compound and pot around the edge of a compost filled pot, spray with water, cover with a plastic bag and in one pot you can have 4 or 5 new plants, grow then on and in a couple of weeks that you can still plant out before the frost!😀
@keely take from the top a non flowering growth
@hayleyaj similar to salvia cuttings I've done some of them so will have a go if there's any new shoots 👍😁 thank you
@keely it's a #perennial so more height than spread for this one, you'll have lots of lovely flower spikes next year, spread is only 25-30 cm but spikes over a metre!! 😍😀
Great flower keely great advice @hayleyaj I'm going to put on my wish list so I can keep the advice thank you 😊
@Keely Very nice Keely💙💙

About time this started to flower 💜
Looking good👍but my purple one is a bit slow & weak looking compare to last year & compared to my 2 red ones 😕
Mine have been and nearly gone @keely funny isn't it
@jeatacake @jaynehynesburton this was new in this year but put in early enough so very late flowering got loads of flower stems on though quick feed tonight should help it on 😁
Yes @keely I put mine in this year. Feeding will help Im sure 😊
