Are these perennial or annuals ? I had some last year but not this year 😩

@fuschia they are perennials but not always hardy, I'm going to mulch mine this year as lost my pink one last year too Pearl I'm going to try leave as much foliage on this as possible to protect any new shoots n cut back in Spring next year 😃

@Jasonsparkes1 this again Jason is in a dry sunny spot so done well its tied to obelisk now as grew out of small cane supports 😆 lovely plants shame to throw it maybe put it in a pot and move it about next year see where it likes 😊

It's one plant I've never deadhead as I wasn't sure how to as each spike seems to have both dead and living flowers on it. Can you enlighten me please Keely? 😯😯😯

@Jasonsparkes1 this has got string round it to hold it up, I lost my pink one last year over winter and loved it luckily these came in a lucky dip of perennials so its replaced the pink one 👍😆
