@susanhumphrey333 I got plugs last year Sue that were lovely so bought seeds from Sarah Ravens for this year only 3 out of 8 sprouted though bit disappointing as they are quite expensive seeds you only get about 30 to packet, need to see if other places do them really 😄

Will have to look out for them. Can it be sewn direct when it warms up?

7w

@susanhumphrey333 it probably can Sue as its a bit like a wild flower with feathery foliage

I would normally get excited about new deliveries for the garden but with whats happened this year so far i am losing any hope of it looking nice this year and may as well spend my money on myself!!! These will be going in summerhouse as still blowing a gale here spent an hour tidying up after work and to top it off the slimers have eaten 3 dahlias too 😤😫😣

Chin up Keely. At least it isn't all covered in snow, and you still have lots of color in your garden😍😁😎

@Keely same here! Still blowing a gale, tidied up a bit this morning but more damage during the day today! And don't talk to me about slimers lol! 😔😳😊

8w
comment
Keely

@SikoMa thanks Dar not much left to flower with damage everything is really struggling due to storm my only hope of anything at the minute is my cosmos as they seem to be OK so far so i will at least have a couple of flowers for Summer 😑

@Leroybe Leon im really losing hope after walking round tonight everything is even more damaged and we are due more rain n wind again tomorrow. I think all the rain has brought the slimers out I've done well in garden but never checked pots until tonight and they have munched away through 3 of my best ones from last year which had already been bashed by hailstone so not holding out much hope of them to flower now 😣

@Keely I know it's never easy accepting the damage nature does sometimes, especially when you've just got it looking good! I've got two hostas in pots, checked them today & there's not much left just holes lol! Chins up though..this is gardening & it gives so much more, hopefully this time next week it'll be hot & dry! Oh and calm. 😔🤔😊👍🏻

So sorry you feel so down about the garden. I totally understand though. It's so frustrating when you spend time & money on it & it gets destroyed by the weather. Big hugs 🤗😘
