Morning Peeps cleared my phone of garden pics last night so need to do some new pics here's a #frilly #poppy about to unfurl. Have a super Friday 💕 First night out on town for me tonight meeting a few colleagues from work I've not seen for 9 months gosh where has this year gone 😕

@italydiva posted yr seeds off so hopefully you should have them soon, was reading up on Sarah ravens seed sight and you can sow them in Aug/sept for next year so I will be trying that this year 😆

Oh yes please Keely... that would be wonderful, thank you. 😀 I’m hoping to harvest seeds from my red opium poppy. How am I best doing it? On the smaller poppies I just wait for the heads to dry out then shake the seeds free. Is it the same with these larger poppy heads? You’d be very welcome to some seeds from the opium poppy if you would like any. I’ve also got some smaller yellow poppy seeds if you’re interested? 😊😘

@italydiva forgot to say yes I just take the seed pod heads off leave them in an envelope then later in the year take the tops off for the seeds to fall out into an envelope you get 1000s from one head 😆😘

My only #poppy sown this year but threw a few seeds in of different varieties other day may get a late Summer show so worth a try 😆
