I take them off Keely they look so unsightly when they've went over, I did that last year with the 2 I've got and they both have loads of buds again this year they're just starting to open now 😘

@mich I think that's exactly what I did last year but couldn't remember as its only first full year I've had them. Will put on list for tomorrow 👍 thank you

I've always taken mine off, even before I was a keen gardener. I take them off as they fade, otherwise it takes ages to do them all at once 😊

@mich @susanhumphrey333 couldn't wait while tmz bit of PJ gardening they are all off now in hope that it rains tonight and gives it a good soaking so I can feed it tmz night...... one hopes for 🌧🌧🌧 Have to say its blue sky outside so not looking good!! 😣

@Keely Goodness! My Percy Wiseman is still only in bud!!! Doesn't usually flower in my neck of the woods until mid-late May. When is does, it is covered in flowers. It was a rescue job from a neighbour of my in-laws, about 8 or 9yrs ago! It had been overgrown by conifers, and was touch n go whether it would survive being moved 20 miles north, in to a far more exposed garden! However, after lots of tlc, it has turned into a fantastic specimen plant! 😀

Once Percy got its first bud on I used this #feed and it has blossomed ever since. 💞💗💞 My soil is very alkaline so without the feed the flowers would not be as good. Can also be used on #camellias #azaleas #heathers #magnolias and #blueberries

@ukjohnny mine is in a pot at the minute to get established think im putting it in back border as one of my pieris is not good there just not sure about how it will do in my soil as its quite clayy although i have put alot of grit n sand in to break it up and much better this year 😀
