This beautiful rose is in works garden, does anyone know variety? #roseid Its a bush one about 3' in height Anyone give me best advice on how to take a cutting from it, Id dig it out but its near CCTV haha 😍

😂😂😂

Lol! Wish we had something like that outside our office. Instead it is various unspeakable things & odours!!!!🙈🙊😫

@jeatacake @pelly I wouldn't mind its tucked away at back of alley in a very shady corner and probably only me that admires its beauty everyday. Its neglected and leggy I really want it but cant sneak it on bus 😂😂😂

Oh what a shame. Can't you just ask your boss and tell him how it would thrive in your garden? 😮😮😮

You could try a cutting or 2. They root really well. Probably 80% success rate from loads I've done from my ma's.

😂 I hope we don't see a photo fit of you on Crimewatch Keely @keely holding a rose bush 😉😂😂😘

@jadojado29 😂😂😂👮👮👮

@jeatacake how do I take them never had roses before?

Definitely worth a try 👍🏻👍🏻

@pelly I know we have gardeners at work that do all estates so they tend to the garden at work think they would notice it gone as its centre of attention in this corner. Will try cuttings when Jeff tells me how to 😁

Just cut off non-flowering shoots, about 6 to 12 inches long. Keep them sealed in a plastic bag until you get home. Then trim to just below a leaf joint, remove the lower leaves & plant about 2 to 3 inches into any kind of compost or soil. You can FIP them in roting hormone powder, but they do root without much fuss, usually within 6 weeks at this time of year. Just keep them in a cool mostly shaded spot & not let them dry out. I'd get 3 or 4 cuttings if you can, just to improve the odds! 👍
