@richard.spicer.7906 funny enough I got this from one of show garden sell offs at Harrogate flower shower about 4 years ago its been a lovely shrub and takes very little looking after too just a cut back once a year to size you need it and jobs a good in :)

@gjones they do get runners but I slice them off if I see one popping up and I keep it cut back to a reasonable size for border

I carried this in a 5 litre pot from Harrogate flower show about 4 years ago now got it from one of show gardens and it's been a beauty worth the wait for plant sell off 😄

Isn't that lovely, I couldn't believe what had happened in my garden since I went to work this morning. The sun certainly worked it's magic today. How are your ribs now, hopefully easing a bit? 🤔😘

@pelly I know me too Jane skipped tea and was out in garden first fruit cider of year and didn't come in til 8. Ribs have been ok last 2 days bit of pain today but moved all pots out of Summerhouse this morning before I went to work so expected a bit painkillers eased it though 😄 they are easing a bit but you do know when you have over done it 😊

Well just be careful when you’re moving things Keely, don’t forget the bones won’t have healed yet. 😘👌

Me three 😍have noticed a few runners that I can dig up and pot on 👍@keely

@lovemygarden65 Im going to have to disturb it when I get to do back border to.put more drainage in hope it survives will try keep as much soil on roots as poss will no doubt find some runners too, did you just pot them on?

It's a really hardy plant @keely should be fine. I just cut them off and pot them up, have given lot away as they root very easily 👍

@lovemygarden65 that's great as mum likes it so she can have one too, good to know hoping if its dry next weekend will get it done give time for it to settle down again 👌

@sunbeamcottage @mellybobs its a shrub lovely colouring if you scroll across photo you can see the shrub although its a lot bigger now and its supposed to get feathery spikes in summer its my first summer in so i will see if it does 😁

@titchyfra it is swipe across photo you will see other shot, does get tall feathery flowers but its only been in a year so will wait n see if they come 😁

I'm sure they will @Keely I'm surprised at how quick mine have grown! Coincidentally I've planted mine with aucuba ☺️

@keely ( sorry forgot to say ) don't know if you've spotted suckers yet- I already have three new plants (for friends!) but am happy for mine to spread a little more anyway so I've left others to grow

@titchyfra will keep an eye out for suckers free plants for others i don't mind 👍
