@nix81 yes Nicola always cut it back then and leave it to grow naturally then until it Flowers again next year 😆👍

Annual topiary trim to the spirea done, been brutal this year cut a lot of dead wood out in middle but it always fights back. Good water n feed this evening job done til next year 😁

@SylviaDavies hi Sylvia this was mine close up think it just looks brighter from a distance due to the mass of flowers but looks same to me, I really give mine a good haircut once the flowers go over and good feed which gave me a great display for last couple of year 👍

Yes it was the close up that looked to have a yellower middle bit this looks similar. Ive been cutting mine back too as it's a fast grower. @SylviaDavies there is one called snowmound so that may be slightly different in variety but Id say due to how your flowers grow into a wreath I would say its def Bridal wreath, mine don't get as many wreaths due to how I cut it back into a ball but as they grow fast I have to keep it that way for my small border 😃 Suns shining here too and im off so will be in garden pottering as not much more to do now but wait for the blooms to open 😊

Thank you! Lucky you @Keely . I've two borders to create to help house my 60 odd dahlias. Its a late season here as its only a couple of weeks since the frost went. Desperate to get them out now and im limited to weekends and half term really. Hopefully make some headway today! 👋

@liz1201icloudcom Liz its a fabulous Spring plant and soon bulks out also easy to do cuttings, i have a small cutting in back border but first year in so may not get so many flowers. This one is about 8 years old now and give it a good cut after its flowered to keep it in shape 😄
