Help me identify this plant. It may be a sunflower, but they are coming up all over so I suspect that it's a weed

Oh.... this is definitely #burdock ! Tenacious growing 'weed', flowers are not so great, and the seed pods burst open with what we called hitchhikers, that would catch on clothing and skin like velcro! 😞 However, the long tap root can be eaten on young plants as a #tasty #green side! #edible #foraging
