Help me identify this plant. This is an updated pic now that it has begun to bloom. I am in Southeast Louisiana. It is in a pot on my porch. I've had it over a year. It has had the green leaves and has grown a lot, but this is the first bloom I've seen.
It's really pretty I thought it was a Butterfly Weed plant but it's not if it were me I'd take it to a nursery or even lowes they usually have someone knowledgeable about flowers for your area. Or maybe someone on GT can help.
