Can’t wait to see this beauty opened fully. Love these. 😍😍
@hkyfvr they’re so elegant aren’t they 😍 have 3 pots and they’re all going to have masses of flowers 🤩 neglect seems to work for these too 🤣
They certainly are. I almost ordered these this year. I would have to overwinter indoors though. I do love them. 💜💙
@hkyfvr oh they’re not good in your winters? That’s a shame as they’d look so good in your garden 😐
I know. The catalogue I order from says to lift in Winter. Too bad. I could try overwintering next year I suppose 🤔🤔
@hkyfvr you’re getting tempted already 😉😅
Possibly 🤦♀️🤷♀️

Another beauty 💙
❤️👍😍
Beautiful 💙💙💙
Lovely colour
@anges @grex @gjones @pelly @bks thank you all 💙
Looking beautiful 💙
@jeatacake thanks Jeff 😀 they’ve done so well after dividing them in spring 💙
Must try that with mine next spring as they're still in bud here 👍💙
@jeatacake are they usually this late to flower? Surprisingly each division flowered! One of my rare propagating successes 😛
They can be. It might depend on the weather & how much sun they get. My biggest one is coming into full bloom now. You've done well with those divisions 👍 I may try it too if I have space for them all!
@jeatacake that won’t be a lot this summer ☁️🌧☁️ I bet you can cram a few divisions in around the place 😛

Taking so long 🙄 #agapanthus #african-lily #agapanthus-donau
This is so pretty. Love the name too. It looks like it is reaching in every direction 💙💜
#anticipation 🤗
@hkyfvr it looks how I feel tonight 😜 had my second vaccine today 😩
@crabby58 I do wish it would hurry along 😅
That is great but I know it does make some people feel ill. I was lucky and just had a sore arm that I could hardly move. My granddaughter was telling me she felt achy all over for a day. Don’t worry it will pass quickly. They warned about the second dose. Take care Kerry. Get some rest. 🙁♥️🥰
@hkyfvr I’m so glad to be fully vaccinated but by god it’s made me feel unwell this time around. Worth it but makes you wonder if just the vaccine makes you feel this bad then how on Earth must Covid make you feel 🤯😣
I am sorry it made you feel like this. I cannot even imagine how bad Covid would make you feel. Not being able to breathe would be so scary. Well I hope we never have to find out how it feels. Rest up on the weekend 👍♥️💗😍 @kez001uk
@hkyfvr I pray none of us or our loved ones ever find out 🙏🏻 I hope tomorrow I’ll feel better so I can do more than sit and sleep 🙈 thanks Diane ❤️
I pray for that too. Feel better Kerry. Tomorrow is a new day. A better one for you. 👍😍😍
@hkyfvr 🤗😘❤️

Divided this year and have 10 flower stalks 🤩 #agapanthus #african-lily #agapanthus-donau
This will look amazing 👍😍
Great photo 👌😘
Beautiful photo 💙💙💙
@hkyfvr I’m hoping so 😁 only ever had 2 flower stalks so am very pleased with this years efforts 😛
@jacaranda thank you Barbara 😀
@pelly thank you Jane 😃
@gjones thank you Katy 😄
Cant wait till I can say that about mine!
@lesliecole49 think this will be their 3rd summer so shouldn’t be too long before yours multiply 😁
I probably knew they multiplied when I bought them, but forgot. That's cool. We get occasional freezes so it looks like mine will go into the unheated garage for the winter with several other plants then protected with a blanket during the worst of the cold
@lesliecole49 I’ve left mine out since they were planted, even through some nasty frosts. But think protecting them makes sense (I always forget 🤦🏻♀️) looking forward to seeing yours 😁

First ever flower on the way 😁 #agapanthus #african-lily #agapanthus-donau
Hopefully a good year for them .. mine have started to flower..first time in 3 years... I forgot what colour the flowers are 😂
Crikey! I keep checking mine but no bud as yet! Good for you 💜💜
How long have you been waiting
@Mary200631 that’s great! 3 years is a long time to wait for flowers though 😜 I was complaining at 18 months 🤣
@midnightgardener I hope you get some, especially after dividing them 🤞🏻
@alan1111 I planted them in autumn ‘18 so not too long really. Only one has a bud but I’m happy with that 😁
Once they've started following each year there'll be more blooms
@alan1111 I can’t wait 😁 they’re amazing looking flowers 😍

Don’t think these will be flowering this year 😂
Hate to tell you Kerry mine took 2yrs 😁
Looks very healthy Kerry 😍
Nice flower bed and nice dirt too!
@jaynehynesburton oh no 😂 I’ve been getting so excited since it broke the soil 🤣 just another 12 months to wait then 😆
@sieveheadsarah thanks Sarah 😀 it’s doing much better now it’s settled from being dug up by cats several times 😜
@janetandjim thank you Janet 😃 how is the weather treating you now?
Yours might flower Kerry, I got 2 flowers after 2yrs but this year about 9
@kez001uk we have had no rain still and none in site. I almost took photos of the cracked ground last night. It’s the Kentucky version of the Grand Canyon. Thanks for asking!
@jaynehynesburton that’s amazing! I had no idea they multiplied at all, let alone so well 😍
@gjones oh yes! I remember yours last year, flowering once you’d brought it indoors 😂
@janetandjim oh no 😨 sounds awful 🙈 sorry to hear it, I’ll be hoping for rain for you still 🙏🏻
Looking a lot lighter this year 🤔 #agapanthus #african-lily #agapanthus-donau
